Fabio Bolognani

Fabio Bolognani

Guest of honour: Dr Fabio Bolognani

Dr Fabio Bolognani heads the homeopathy and phytotherapy department at the Dr Arnaldo Cancer Institute, a public hospital in the heart of São Paulo (Brazil), as well as the homeopathy department at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia General Hospital in Rio de Janeiro. He is also coordinator of the Technical Chamber of Homeopathy of the Regional Council of Medicine of the State of Rio de Janeiro, president of the Brazilian Homeopathy Federation and a paid-up member of Shisso!

Drawing on his clinical experience within major hospital structures, he will share a concrete approach rooted in daily practice through his lecture:

“Homeopathy in hospital oncology: organization, indications and practice in an oncology center in São Paulo”.

Using the example of the “Dr. Arnaldo” Cancer Institute, an 80-bed public facility with almost 300 oncology consultations a day, this talk offers an immersion into a Brazilian integrative care model. The role of homeopathy for hospitalized patients, particularly in palliative care, and its role in outpatient follow-up will be discussed.

This conference will also shed light on the clinical methodology and prescribing techniques of homeopathy in supportive care, and its integration into a public health system that provides access to treatments without out-of-pocket expenses for patients.

Dr Bolognani will be speaking in French.
