SHISSO was represented at the 51st Paris Homeopathic Conference by three of its members, who presented two lectures. “Updating the SHISSO 2026 Recommendations Using the Delphi Method,” presented by Véronique Lavallée and Jean-Claude Karp, provided an opportunity to share our society’s new recommendations on homeopathic supportive care in oncology. “Homeopathic Clinical Cases of Chronic Dermatological Conditions,” presented by Jean-Lionel Bagot, illustrated the clinical approach and patient follow-up based on cases of successful treatment from Dr. Stahl’s practice. This participation is part of SHISSO’s commitment to disseminating its recommendations and promoting the sharing of experiences among healthcare professionals. Dr. Jean-Lionel Bagot participated in the National Center for Integrative Medicine (NCIM) integrative oncology conference in Bristol. His presentation, titled “Advancing Practice with the New SHISSO Guidelines, ” introduced the new SHISSO recommendations resulting from the Delphi HOMEoRUN study, which focused on homeopathic supportive care in oncology. This meeting provided an opportunity for fascinating discussions with British specialists in integrative oncology regarding clinical practices and research. It contributes to the international dissemination of SHISSO’s work and to the development of ties with professionals across the Channel.

The SHISSO general meeting, covering the 2025 fiscal year, was held on September 12, 2026, with 28 members in attendance and 7 members represented by proxy. The association currently has 70 members who are up to date with their dues, compared to 55 in 2025. In 2025, SHISSO organized two conferences, in Strasbourg and Lyon. Its members also presented their work at conferences in France and abroad, notably in Paris, Thessaloniki, London, Utrecht, and Boston. This international presence is complemented by scientific publications and collaborations with several partner organizations. The international HOMEoRUN Delphi study represents a major step forward for the association. The consensus reached made it possible to update the SHISSO recommendations for homeopathic support in palliative care for breast cancer. Knowledge sharing also continued through educational sessions for palliative care professionals and students in medicine, pharmacy, and nursing.
